If you've found us, you no doubt share our love for Zuni Art and fetishes in particular. My interest began over 20 years ago, when I started collecting from some friends who were making buying trips to Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. Several years ago, they asked us to become sales representatives, so of course we said yes. After many years of selling on the road, we created ZuniArt.com and have now been selling online for over 10 years.

About the Fetishes
This page has been set up as a general starting place for information about the Zuni people and their art. We encourage you to check out the bibliography link below for an extensive reading list. Much of the information has been provided by our trader friends Corilee and Micheal, who have been working with Zuni artists for over the last 20 years. They are responsible for making this site possible.

You'll notice several things about the various fetishes as you browse this site. First of all, pieces are identified by carver as well as stone. They're not necessarily pictured in actual size but dimensions are listed. Please remember that prices vary depending on stone choice, carver and size of carving. If the piece is followed by (PC) it means that it is a one-of-a-kind piece from a private collection. If you are interested in a similar piece, please contact us for pricing and availability.
